Founded on a personal mission.

Palett was born from firsthand experience with the challenges of material sourcing in interior design.

Growing up in New York City, Eric Kiss was surrounded by design. His mother, a respected interior designer, and father, an architect, filled their home with conversations about materials, textures, and the endless hunt for the perfect elements to complete a project. Eric vividly remembers his mother's late-night calls trying to track down a specific marble from Italy or a custom textile that was running behind schedule.

After building his career in tech at companies like Apple and Peloton, Eric couldn't shake the memory of his mother's frustrations. "I'd watch her maintain binders full of material samples and spend hours calling vendors, only to have clients change their minds and start the process all over," he recalls. "I kept thinking there had to be a better way." In 2022, Eric returned to his roots, combining his tech expertise with his intimate understanding of design challenges to create Palett—the platform he wished his mother had decades ago.
