Can I try Palett before signing up?
Yes! We offer 3 free material searches on our homepage—no account required. Simply search for materials using text or upload an image to see our catalog in action. After your free searches, sign up to unlock unlimited searching, AI visualizations, and board management.
What's included in the free plan?
Our Free tier includes 100 AI chat messages per day, up to 5 projects, and 25 one-time starter credits for AI image generation. You can search our full material catalog, create boards, and collaborate with your team. Video generation and watermark-free exports require a paid plan.
How do I get started with Palett?
Sign up for a free account at palett.space, complete our quick 2-step onboarding, and we'll create a "Getting Started" project with sample boards and visualizations to help you explore. Our interactive tour will guide you through key features like material search, AI visualizations, and board management.
Material Catalog
How many materials are in your catalog?
We have over 340,000 curated materials from 70+ leading interior design vendors including WAC Lighting, Loloi, FilzFelt, Interface, Schumacher, RBW, Kravet, and Carnegie Fabrics. Our catalog covers wall finishes, lighting, textiles, rugs, carpet, tile, flooring, and architectural hardware with detailed specifications and high-quality images.
Can I search by uploading my own images?
Absolutely! Our visual search feature lets you upload any interior photo to find similar materials in our catalog. Simply drag and drop an image into the search bar or click the camera icon. You can also crop and adjust the image to focus on specific materials. This works for fabric patterns, tile designs, wood finishes, and more.
How accurate is your material data?
We source specifications directly from manufacturers and vendors, including dimensions, materials, finishes, performance ratings, care instructions, and pricing (where available). Our AI enhancement system continuously improves data completeness, and we have partnerships with vendors to ensure accuracy.
Can I add my own materials to my library?
Yes! You can add custom materials in three ways: (1) Upload product images and enter details manually, (2) Paste a product URL and our AI will extract specifications automatically, or (3) Upload files directly to your projects. Custom materials are private to your account.
AI Features
How does AI visualization work?
Our AI visualization feature uses advanced generative AI models to create photorealistic interior designs based on your material selections. Select materials from your boards, describe the space you want to create, and our AI will generate high-quality images showing those materials in context. You can iterate and refine until you get the perfect visualization.
What are AI credits and how do they work?
AI credits power our AI features like image generation (2-6 credits) and video generation (60-120 credits). Free tier users get 25 one-time starter credits for images. Paid plans include monthly credits: Professional ($49/mo) gets 350 credits, Studio ($149/mo) gets 800 credits, and Agency ($299/mo) gets 2,500 credits. You can also buy additional credit packs anytime.
Can I generate videos of my designs?
Yes! Our AI video generation feature creates animated walkthroughs of your interior designs using state-of-the-art video generation models. This feature is available on Professional plans and above, costing 60-120 credits depending on video length and quality. Perfect for client presentations and stakeholder reviews.
Do AI-generated images include my selected materials?
Yes! When you generate visualizations, you can attach up to 14 reference images from your boards or upload your own inspiration photos. Our AI will incorporate your material selections into the generated designs while maintaining design coherence and realism. You can choose different visualization modes: mood boards (swatches only), room scenes (realistic interiors), material studies (close-ups), or inspiration (creative interpretations).
Boards & Projects
What are boards and how do I use them?
Boards are Pinterest-style collections where you organize materials, notes, and inspiration for your projects. Create boards for different rooms, design concepts, or client presentations. You can add materials directly from search results, create nested sub-boards for organization, and export boards as PDFs or Excel files for client review.
Can I collaborate with my team?
Yes! Palett supports full project collaboration. Invite team members as creators, admins, editors, or viewers. Everyone can see real-time updates to boards, add notes to materials, and communicate via project-scoped messaging. You can also share boards with external clients for feedback without giving them full account access.
How do I share boards with clients?
You have two options: (1) Create a shareable guest link that doesn't require clients to have an account—perfect for quick feedback, or (2) Invite clients as "client" role collaborators for more involved projects. Guest links can be set to expire after 7-90 days and can be revoked anytime.
Pricing & Billing
What are your pricing plans?
We offer four plans: Free (100 chat msgs/day, 5 projects, 25 starter credits), Professional ($49/mo or $470/yr, 350 credits/month), Studio ($149/mo or $1,430/yr, 800 credits/month), and Agency ($299/mo or $2,870/yr, 2,500 credits/month). Annual plans save 20%. All paid plans include unlimited projects, watermark-free exports, and video generation.
What happens if I run out of AI credits?
If you exhaust your monthly credits, you can purchase additional credit packs: Medium pack (100 credits for $25) or Large pack (350 credits for $75 with 15% bonus). Credits from packs never expire and roll over month to month. Your monthly allocation refreshes on your billing date.
Can I cancel or change my plan anytime?
Yes! You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription anytime from your account billing settings. When you upgrade, you're charged a prorated amount and credits are allocated immediately. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at your next billing cycle, and you keep your current plan benefits until then.
Do you offer discounts for students or nonprofits?
Yes! We offer special pricing for educational institutions and nonprofit organizations. Please email us at support@palett.space with documentation of your status (student ID, .edu email, or 501(c)(3) paperwork) and we'll set up a customized plan for your needs.
Account & Data
Is my data secure and private?
Absolutely. Your projects, boards, and materials are private by default and protected by enterprise-grade row-level security. We use Supabase for data storage (hosted on AWS) with encryption at rest and in transit. You control who can access your content through our granular permission system. We never share your data with third parties.
Can I export my data?
Yes! You can export individual boards as PDFs (with material images and specs) or Excel files (with full specification sheets). For complete data portability, contact our support team and we can provide a full export of your account data in JSON format.
What happens if I delete my account?
If you delete your account, all your projects, boards, materials, and data are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. We recommend exporting any important boards before deletion. You can request account deletion from your account settings or by emailing support@palett.space.

How do I get support?
We offer multiple support channels: (1) Live chat widget on our website (look for the chat bubble in the bottom right), (2) Email us at support@palett.space, or (3) Check our documentation at palett.space/docs. Professional, Studio, and Agency plans receive priority support with faster response times.
What browsers and devices does Palett support?
Palett works best on modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge (all latest versions). Our web app is fully responsive and works on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. For the best experience with AI visualizations and large image uploads, we recommend using a desktop or laptop with at least 4GB RAM and a stable internet connection.
Do you have an API or integrations?
We're currently developing API access and integrations with popular design tools like SketchUp, Revit, and Excel. Professional plans and above will have API access. If you have specific integration needs for your workflow, email us at support@palett.space to discuss custom solutions.
