  3. Choose video settings
  4. AI creates animated version with camera movement

Video length: 3-5 seconds (loop-able)

Result: MP4 video file, ready to share

Standalone Video Generation

Generate directly without base image:

  1. Go to Visualize tab
  2. Click "Generate Video"

Video Settings

Movement Type

Pan (Left/Right):

  • Camera rotates horizontally
  • Shows width of space
  • Best for: Long rooms, panoramic views

  • 360-degree view
  • Best for: Showcasing hero pieces, islands, seating areas

Static with Motion:

  • Camera stays fixed, elements move (lighting, shadows)
  • Subtle animation
  • Best for: Mood and atmosphere, not spatial exploration

Speed Settings

Slow (5 seconds) - 120 credits:

  • Smooth, elegant movement
  • Best for luxury presentations
  • More cinematic feel

Prompt Writing for Videos

Key Differences from Image Prompts

Images: Describe what's in the scene

Videos: Describe what's in the scene + camera movement

Example:

Image prompt: "Modern kitchen with marble island"

Video prompt: "Modern kitchen with marble island.
Camera slowly dollies forward from entrance,
approaching the island, then pans right to show
the full space ending at the window view."

Camera Direction Vocabulary

Movement verbs:

  • "Pan left/right"
  • "Zoom in/out"
  • "Dolly forward/backward"
  • "Orbit around"
  • "Tilt up/down"

Starting point:

  • "Start from the entrance"
  • "Begin focused on the fireplace"
  • "Open with a wide view"

Ending point:

  • "End on the seating area"
  • "Finish with view out the window"
  • "Conclude focused on the feature wall"

Pacing:

  • "Slowly pan"
  • "Quick zoom"
  • "Smoothly dolly"

Use Cases

Client Presentations

High-impact reveals:

  1. Generate 3-5 design options (images)
  2. Client picks favorite
  3. Generate video of winning design
  4. Present in meeting for "wow" factor

Cost: 1 video × 90 credits (medium speed) = 90 credits

Virtual Walkthroughs

Tour the space remotely:

  1. Generate multiple videos (entry, living area, kitchen, etc.)
  2. Stitch together (using video editing software)
  3. Send to remote clients
  4. Async review without in-person meeting

Cost: 4 videos × 90 credits = 360 credits

Social Media Content

Showcase your work:

  1. Generate fast videos (3 seconds) of best designs
  2. Post to Instagram, LinkedIn
  3. Attract new clients
  4. Build portfolio

Cost: 1 video × 60 credits (fast) = 60 credits

Design Iterations

Show evolution:

  1. Generate video of Option A
  2. Generate video of Option B
  3. Present both to client
  4. Discuss differences in motion

Cost: 2 videos × 90 credits = 180 credits

Best Practices

1. Generate Image First

Don't skip the image step:

  • Images are cheaper (2-6 credits vs 60-120 credits)
  • Iterate on image until perfect
  • Then generate video from approved image

Workflow:

  1. Generate 5 images (20-30 credits)
  2. Client picks favorite
  3. Generate 1 video from favorite (90 credits)

Total: 110-120 credits vs. 450 credits (if generating 5 videos directly)

2. Choose Movement Purposefully

Match movement to content:

  • Pan: Wide horizontal spaces (open-plan living, long galleries)
  • Zoom: Focal points (statement furniture, art walls)
  • Dolly: Deep spaces (hallways, loft-style rooms)
  • Orbit: Hero pieces (kitchen islands, circular seating)

Don't: Random movement without reason

3. Keep It Short

3-5 seconds is plenty:

  • Attention span for video loops
  • Files stay manageable (<50MB)
  • Loop-able for presentations

Longer videos: Stitch multiple short videos using editing software

4. Optimize for Platform

Client presentations (in-person):

  • High quality, medium speed
  • Play on loop during discussion

Email attachments:

  • Standard quality, fast (smaller file size)
  • Embedded in email or linked

Social media:

  • Standard quality, fast
  • Eye-catching quick loops

Website portfolio:

  • High quality, slow
  • Showcase your best work

5. Narrate or Add Music

Post-production enhancements:

  1. Download video from Palett
  2. Add voiceover or music (iMovie, Premiere, CapCut)
  3. Add text overlays (room name, materials list)
  4. Export final presentation video

Advanced Techniques

Multi-Angle Videos

Show space from multiple perspectives:

  1. Generate same room, different camera angles

    • Video 1: Wide entry view
    • Video 2: Close-up of seating
    • Video 3: View from opposite side
  2. Stitch together in editing software

  3. Create comprehensive virtual tour

Before/After Video Pairs

Show transformation dynamically:

  1. Generate video of current space (before)
  2. Generate video of redesigned space (after)
  3. Present side-by-side or in sequence
  4. Highlight impact of design

Looping Presentations

For trade show booths or lobby displays:

  1. Generate 5-10 videos of different projects
  2. Compile into loop (video editing software)
  3. Play continuously
  4. No interaction needed

Troubleshooting

"Video looks choppy or glitchy"

Causes:

  • Complex prompt with conflicting instructions
  • Too many references causing confusion
  • Unusual camera movements

Solutions:

  • Simplify prompt
  • Use standard movements (pan, zoom)
  • Regenerate (results vary)

"Camera movement doesn't match prompt"

Causes:

  • Ambiguous directions
  • Conflicting start/end points
  • Impossible camera paths

Solutions:

  • Be explicit: "Start at entrance, move forward 10 feet, pan right"
  • Use simple movements
  • Describe one action at a time

"Video generation taking too long"

Typical time: 2-3 minutes

If longer than 5 minutes:

  • Refresh page (generation continues)
  • Check status in Visualize tab
  • Contact support if exceeds 10 minutes

"Video file won't play"

Causes:

  • Browser compatibility
  • Outdated media player

Solutions:

  • Download and open in VLC Media Player
  • Try different browser (Chrome, Safari)
  • Convert format using free tools (CloudConvert)

Credit Management

Video generation is expensive:

SpeedStandard QualityHigh Quality
Fast (3s)60 credits90 credits
Medium (4s)90 credits135 credits
Slow (5s)120 credits180 credits

Budget wisely:

  • Professional (350 credits/month): ~3-5 videos
  • Studio (800 credits/month): ~8-12 videos
  • Agency (2,500 credits/month): ~25-40 videos

Cost-saving tips:

  1. Generate images first, iterate cheaply
  2. Generate only final approved designs as video
  3. Use standard quality unless presenting on large screen
  4. Choose fast speed for most use cases
